Levante has returned to training following their victory over Real Oviedo and a brief period of rest. The session was notably marked by the absence of midfielder Iker Losada, who is currently adhering to concussion protocol.
The Galician player, on loan, did not train with his teammates and is expected to gradually rejoin the team in the coming days as he completes his recovery.
Losada sustained a head injury during last weekend’s match. After receiving initial attention, he continued playing for over twenty minutes before coach Luís Castro decided to substitute him, noticing the player was not in full command of his faculties.
Post-Match Symptoms
Following the match, Luís Castro mentioned in a press conference that Losada had initially indicated he felt fine. However, after being replaced, the player reported experiencing “hammering” sensations in the back of his neck.
Despite the incident, Losada did not require extraordinary medical care or hospital transport, a different outcome compared to Matías Moreno, who needed such assistance after a collision in another match.
International Absences
In parallel, the training session also saw the absence of five international players called up by their respective national teams: Mathiew Ryan (Australia), Etta Eyong (Cameroon), Kervin Arriaga (Honduras), Tay Abed (Israel U21), and Paco Cortés (Spain U19).
