Inter Milan is preparing for significant squad changes in June, as the departures of Matteo Darmian and Henrikh Mkhitaryan appear almost certain.
Matteo Darmian, whose contract expires at the end of the season, is not expected to receive a contract renewal and will consequently bid farewell to Milan. The former Torino and Manchester United player will leave the Nerazzurri club, which is already actively seeking defensive reinforcements in anticipation of a summer overhaul in that department.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s situation also looks critical. The Armenian midfielder is increasingly close to an exit, with negotiations for a potential renewal reportedly stalled. There are also reports circulating that the player is considering retiring from professional football at the end of the season.
