Two-Match Ban for Bordalás After Espanyol Expulsion

Getafe manager José Bordalás has been handed a two-match suspension following his expulsion during the recent game against Espanyol.

According to the disciplinary committee's resolution, Bordalás will serve one game for "conduct contrary to sporting order," incurring accessory fines as stipulated by Article 52. The second game of his ban is for "protesting to the referee, assistant, or fourth official," which also includes additional fines under the same article.

In addition to their manager's absence, Getafe will also be without two key players for their next fixture. Kiko Femenia and Allan Romeo Nyom both accumulated their fifth yellow cards in the last match, meaning they are automatically suspended for the upcoming clash against Athletic Club at the Coliseum after the international break.
