Lens defender Arthur Masuaku has been handed a three-match suspension by the French Football Federation (FFF) following his red card received during the Coupe de France quarter-final match against Lyon.
The incident occurred last Thursday when Masuaku was controversially sent off while warming up on the sidelines. This unusual dismissal, happening even before the player had formally entered the game, led to a significant disciplinary action.
The sanction means a notable blow for the Lensois club, as Masuaku will be unavailable for three upcoming matches, impacting their squad depth in crucial fixtures.
