Il commentait la première réalisation de son fils, qui a marqué cinq secondes seulement après son entrée en jeu lors d’un match contre Nantes (victoire 1-0).
“Je savais de quoi il était capable, mais je ne pensais pas qu’il allait être aussi précoce”, a déclaré Walid Mesloub, visiblement ému par la performance de son fils.

Speaking to Ligue 1+ this Friday evening, Walib Mesloub, father of Mezian Mesloub and former RC Lens player (2018-2020), proclaimed his pride. He was commenting on his son’s first professional goal, which was scored a mere five seconds after Mezian entered the game against Nantes (a 1-0 victory).
“I knew what he was capable of, but I didn’t think he would be so quick [to achieve this],” said Walid Mesloub, visibly moved by his son’s performance.
